This place is pretty quiet, but that doesn’t mean nothing’s going on.  Among other things, I’m a member of the Clancy Volunteer Fire Department, and an annual tradition is the head shaving / fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping kids who are facing the struggle against cancer.  On April 17th, some of us are going to shave our heads in support of those brave little ones, and I’m appealing to the good nature of anyone who still shows up around here to make a donation, no matter how small, in support of our efforts.  You can donate online via the St. Baldrick’s Foundation website; plus you can see a rather lousy picture of me pre-shave.  Anyway, thanks in advance, and stay tuned for the pictures of the aftermath.
