Jeep, the American automotive brand founded in 1943, has made a lot of hits in the SUV segment. The brand started with military vehicles with out-of-class off-road capabilities. With time, Jeep started to launch utility vehicles and luxury SUVs. The brand’s current product range has several off-road and on-road players. 

Popular Jeep Cars in Pakistan

Unfortunately, Jeep never made it in the Pakistani automotive industry. No official debut, no car launches, whatsoever. But that did not stop Pakistani car enthusiasts from owning Jeep cars. Hundreds of Pakistanis have gotten a taste of the Jeep SUVs by importing the cars in the country. Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep CJ5, CJ7, and Jeep M-825 are the most popular imported Jeep vehicles in Pakistan. 

Jeep Wrangler

Wrangler is Jeep’s iconic military vehicle. With a sport exterior and luxurious interior, the car is made for off-road adventures. Jeep Wrangler 2021 is a powerhouse with a 2.6-litre V-6 engine that can be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic. A 3.6-liter V-6 hybrid, a 3.0-liter diesel V-6, and a 6.4-liter V-8 powertrain are also available internationally. In Pakistan, older Jeep Wrangler models are available for sale.

Jeep Cherokee

Cherokee is Jeep’s superstar off-roader. The car sets itself apart from the typical compact crossovers with its outstanding off-roading capabilities. Latest Jeep Cherokee models also come with a lot of safety and luxury features like automated emergency braking, infotainment screen, and panoramic sunroof. Its standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is joined by two options: a 3.2-liter V-6 or a 2.0-liter turbocharged powertrain. 

Jeep CJ Series

Jeep CJ is another hit SUV series of this brand. Jeep CJ5 and Jeep CJ7 are the most popular models. CJ5 has gone through a couple of major variations since its launch in 1964. Some of the first models came with a big 3.7-liter V-6 engine. Later, Jeep updated this rugged SUV with a 5.0-liter V8 engine. Meanwhile, the car brand also launched a more modern sibling of the CJ5 and called it the CJ7. Although CJ7 was powered by a beefy 5.0-liter V-8 engine, the car had a shorter run compared to the CJ5.

Older models of both the Jeep CJ5 and Jeep CJ7 are available for sale in different areas of Pakistan.
