When I saw this headline:
Obama’s speech a quiet call to arms for Americans
the article under it wasn’t quite what I expected; nor probably what the journalist intended for me to infer.

While it is always a good idea to have ammo on hand (I try to keep at least 100 rounds for each of my firearms at all times and at least 1000 rounds for my .22 and SHTF gun), I am relatively sure that Obama’s comments were aimed in a different direction. As far as the ammo is concerned, I would wait about 5 months or so for the Ammo/Gun buying hysteria to die down. Far too many people are buying ammo and guns for fear that Obama will show up and take them away. The suckers should be cleared out in a few months and the prices should drop down again.

I hope all is well with ya…as to your point, I hope your right about those prices and/or availability-it’s pretty ridiculous out there right now. As for the headline, I just thought it was funny, an odd choice of words; then again, my sense of humor is, shall we say, a half bubble off center most of the time.
