Constructing

No matter how large the project, nor how many steps involved, nor how many steps I’ve accomplished, as the sun sets on the day I will invariably squeeze in just one more part of the project that almost always ends with me flubbing the whole thing up. If it weren’t for the ‘almost always’ I might be able to learn my lesson. And to think woodworking is supposed to be my stress relief. Grumble Rumble Gurgle Roar.

It’s funny, I wrote that in the heat of frustration after I really was done for the day, but as is the case in woodworking, there’s almost always a work around and I found my own today. I guess that’s what keeps me coming back for more. It takes a lot to irreversibly screw things up, thankfully this wasn’t one of those times.
